Neil is Chairman of the Trustees and founded the charity with his two daughters Alice and Hannah. Neil's son took his own life after suffering from Schizophrenia for ten years.
Neil is now retired, having spent most of his career running a small technology business. His primary role in the charity is to raise funds for research to help find a cure.
Alice is a founding Trustee and is primarily responsible for marketing and communications to drive fundraising and awareness.
After completing a degree in philosophy, Alice began her career in commercial writing and content creation and now works for a MarTech business in strategic business development.
Hannah is a founding trustee and responsible for fundraising and partnerships.
With a background in talent management, she now works in tech, focusing on data intelligence, while also managing her own jewellery business.
Martin is the Financial Controller* of Research Schizophrenia.
Martin is an experienced financial services professional with a skillset across international asset finance & treasury with a particular focus on lease syndication, most recently with De Lage Landen, a subsidiary of the Dutch Rabobank.

David is a solicitor with more than 10 years experience providing legal advise in the charity sector. David helped Research Schizophrenia from its inception, overseeing Charity Commission registration and advising on a wide range of strategic issues*.

With over 20 years of experience in biomedical research and research funding, Ed has worked at several leading research-intensive universities, acted as an advisor to the UK Research Councils and the Department of Business Innovation and Skills, and spent time as a consultant in innovation-led economic development and evaluation at the firm SQW.
Ed leads the Oncology Evidence Generation Team at AstraZeneca, UK, where he oversees a wide-ranging portfolio of research activities across real world evidence, digital health, and externally sponsored research, including clinical trials.
Since joining industry, Ed has worked with Takeda, Pfizer, Reckitt, and now AstraZeneca promoting the use of various types of data in optimising patient pathways and validating medical technology to improve patient outcomes. He holds a BSc in Medical Biochemistry from King’s College London and MSc in Demography and Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. .
